We were so honored to be a part of the Unveiled event last week at the Four Seasons Hotel Denver! Celebrity dress designer Angel Rivera was there to show off his incredible gowns and our team pulled together and blew everyone away with our “Luxe-Allure” vignette. If you weren’t able to attend, here are some pictures to drool over:

Guests were greeted with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres provided by the Four Seasons- Design Works transformed the ballroom into a NYC style runway show!

Beautifully detailed gowns by Angel Rivera and a live Q&A with him on stage at the fashion show.

Every detail from the inspiration board was executed perfectly in the vignette- our team was right on point!

“Luxe- allure” meant jewel tones, custom made linens, and an over the top cake. The highlight was definitely the tablescape with the incredible floral arrangements compliments of Swank Stems! Splendor was also there to adorn each guest in colorful pashminas.

We couldn’t have asked for better entertainment than hip-hop violinist, Maestro Hughes- he provided a great energy and had everyone on their feet!

What a great event and we’re so happy to have been a part of it. Thanks to our amazing team, we couldn’t have done it without you!

Red has been popping up everywhere as an alternative to the white wedding dress.

Here is a little history lesson on the Red wedding gown thanks to Luxurious Wedding Style Report.

Throughout the ages, Red was the traditional wedding dress color. Red is the color of good luck and auspiciousness. White was never even considered until 1840 when Queen Victoria had a white wedding gown made to incorporate some white lace she owned. Wanting to be like the Queen, women soon adopted the White Wedding Gown.

Roman brides wore fiery red veils. Today, Greek, Albanian and Armenian brides wear red veils. Chinese brides wear red wedding gowns and are carried to the ceremony in a red litter. Then the bride walks on a red carpet and is greeted by the groom who lifts her red veil. In ancient Russia people also loved the color red which symbolized joy, sun and beauty by wearing a red color sundress.

Roman brides wore red to protect themselves from evil. Brides in the middle ages wore red as a mark of the high status and many Indian brides still hold to this tradition. Chinese brides still wear red on their wedding day as a expression of good luck.

From a stolen glance during a meeting to the slight change in voice when they talk about each other, we at A Touch of Bliss have been lucky enough to experience these small signs of affection a countless number of times throughout the years. A Touch of Bliss

Two things:

1) I think we need a different acronym for Save-The-Dates than STD

2) I realized this after re-reading my first attempt at a title for this post and saw that it said “STD LOVE”.  That, my friends, is a completely different kind of blog!!!

What I am about to show you is nothing but class, elegance and a bit of quirkiness. Mr. Boddington’s Studio is an eccentric little shop set in the middle of bustling New York City where the elusive Mr. Boddington (be sure to read his bio on the website) comes up with the most adorable, personable and unique correspondence a gal (or guy!) could ask for.  Check below for some lovely inspiration through some recent STD’s …Save-The-Dates of his.  (Hint: The rest of the blog is CHOCK-FULL of exceptionally gorgeous wedding inspiration!
