Congratulations to Rachel and Moe who tied the knot at The Four Season Denver on September 2, 2011. It was such a beautiful wedding with soft romantic details!

Swank Stems and Denver Design Works created a romantic setting for their vows on the poolside terrace.

Love N Joy Photography caught the fun and love that was part of this wonderful day!

There are a billion perks to our job.

We get to live in a world where tiny, little moments are all that really matter. Saying “I do”, first dances, joyful tears.

We get to plan for a single day that’s completely and entirely committed to the idea of love.

We get to eat cupcakes, play with linens and quite literally “smell the daisies”.

We get to be a part of the creative transformation from any given venue into something that’s completely about YOU. We get to walk into art museums and make them more about your wedding vows than the Picasso’s that hang from the walls. We get to make the history of century-old castles more about the best man’s speech than the kings and queens that once strolled the halls. So, you can imagine how I drooled when I read this article in the New York Times.

I would do cartwheels if a bride came to me requesting that her wedding be in a parking garage! This would be a chance to transform something that’s typically equated to over-priced parking and janky corners to … “cinematic and absolutely dramatic”! I mean, SOLD!

So, brides out there – I’ll leave you with some inspiration in hopes that your creative juices just may lean towards oil stains and concrete as well!

Here’s to making your wedding venue YOU!

I think it was Martha Stewart Weddings that pushed this trend first, but we are seeing more of the very long banquet table more and more in Colorado this season. Couples are choosing to have their guests a part of one long table or a few long sets of tables. Of course your venue has to have the space to allow it, but the very high impact is great for photos, and the design can be amazing!

Also known as escort cards, we love a pretty presentation of place cards. As we were pulling together a few ideas for a client of ours, we thought we would share a few pieces a place card inspiration we found all over the Internet! Lovely, no?

What a fluttering detail – hand painted butterfly place cards offered by Timeless Paper.

Butterflies not for you? They also offer place cards in peacocks and birds!

A lovely detail for an intimate reception or rehearsal dinner !
