A Touch of Bliss was the Denver wedding planner for  Bryony and Paul’s romantic wedding on February 11, 2012 at the Brown Palace Hotel in the Onyx Room. With an antique Hollywood meets winter-chic theme, the ambiance illuminated the mood with cool winter colors contrasting the warm feeling of joyous friends and family. Thanks to the one of kind photos from Selah Photography we can share their beautifully executed wedding day!

Thank you all for your hard work to make this day nothing short of amazing!

Hello cute and cheap bridesmaid dresses. Target recently launched a bridesmaid collection that ranges in price from just $35 to $70. Dresses come in a variety of materials and colors so you can mix and match for your ladies. Here are a couple of my favorites.

Women's Scoop Neck Taffeta Dress w/Removable Sash - Assorted Colors

Women's Ruffle Neck Shantung Dress - Fashion Colors

Women's Halter Neck Chiffon Dress - Fashion Colors

The dresses are only available online but that just means ordering several to see which one you like best and returning the others to the store. One of my favorite ways to shop.

At A Touch of Bliss we take inspiration from so many parts of life and often look to fashion trends to find interesting ways to incorporate style into our weddings.  Emerald green has been seen all over the recent runways and was just named as the Pantone 2013 Color of the Year.  As wedding planners, we are always looking for what s new and fresh and we are loving all the ways that this could translate into our arena!  So many people think to incorporate red, silver, blue, and gold into their winter color palettes, but what about a bold splash of dark green?  Here are some of our current sources of emerald inspiration and ways we are so excited that this could be conveyed through wedding details. Enjoy!

A Touch of Bliss executed Hannah and Scott’s wedding at the Grant Humphrey’s Mansion in Denver, Colorado on August 3rd, 2012.  This romantic summer wedding was full of life and love as the couple shared their beautiful wedding with family and friends.  Following the elegant cutting of the cake they boogied the night away in the reception room with fun colored lights.  The fun and elegance of this wedding brought so much joy and we were so privileged to take part in it.

A Touch Of Bliss executed MacKenzie and Matt’s lively wedding at The Tivoli in Denver, Colorado, on March 19, 2011.  This wedding was all about love and celebrating that love in a fun and memorable way. The couple was married at Trinity United Methodist Church.  Then the couple lead their wedding party through the streets of Denver, laughing and celebrating the entire way.  A bagpiper accompanied the traveling wedding party as the couple was whisked away by rickshaw to the Tivoli, where they celebrated all night with family and friends.  MacKenzie and Matt have a timeless love that perfectly matched their vintage theme; what a fun and amazing wedding!

A special thanks to all the vendors who made this day possible!

After living in Seattle I just can’t shake my love of all things Nordstrom. I was recently down at the Park Meadows store and discovered the Wedding Suite. The Suite carries a number of lines from different designers with a price range of $160 to $3,300. Plus on top of your gown they can help you with bridesmaid dresses, suits for the men, and accessories.

This dress is by Tadashi Shoji. Just gorgeous and only $548.

This simple textured gown from Nicole Miller is also fabulous!

And my personal favorite …

from Carmen Marc Valvo.

Congratulations to Rachel and Moe who tied the knot at The Four Season Denver on September 2, 2011. It was such a beautiful wedding with soft romantic details!

Swank Stems and Denver Design Works created a romantic setting for their vows on the poolside terrace.

Love N Joy Photography caught the fun and love that was part of this wonderful day!

If I could pick a decade to live in for a day, it would have to be the 1940’s, simply because of the hats (the rich red lipstick would be fun too!). We think weddings are a beautiful reason to wear your biggest, most adorned hat you own. Ribbon? Check. Feathers? Check!

What about an entire bridal party in hats? Wide brims for the ladies and straw fedoras for the gentlemen – lovely! Need a hat? Our favorite millinery is Fleur de Paris on Royal Street in New Orleans.
