If you haven’t been to the Living the Sweet Life bakery then you are seriously missing out. It is definitely a gem bakery located in the Highlands. As you walk in your eyes are greeted by the french inspired décor and your nose embraced with the sweet smells of cookies, cakes, pies, macaroons, and other wonderful treats. Owner, Erika Cunha, wanted to thank everyone who made her first year in her LoHi location a success and asked A Touch of Bliss to produce her anniversary party held on September 28, 2010.
I was fortunate enough to lead the event and together we produced the Living the Sweet Life Fancy Hat Party. All the guests were asked to wear their fanciest hats and they were all definitely looking very sassy.
Thanks to Erin Saboe, owner of Go Go Chapeaux, a millinery located in Cherry Creek North, for her contribution of her best and fanciest hats. Anything But Vanilla made the beautiful copies of the hats from cake fondant to model in the runway show.
Everyone had a great time snacking on candy and cookies made by the Living the Sweet Life team and enjoying cocktails donated by Amendment XX1 owner, Leo Bortolotto, who was also the bartender for the event.
We definitely could not have enjoyed the candy themed tunes without the help of Rock Candy DJ.
The beautiful flowers were donated by Plum Sage Flowers and thanks to LoveNJoy Photography for capturing all the fun.
Thanks to all the vendors who helped make the Living the Sweet Life Fancy Hat Party a success as well as all the wonderful models of the fancy hat runway show.
